Regeneration Music Project: Skrillex & The Doors – Breakin a Sweat
While all of the tracks of the RE:Generation project are available to listen to on HyundaiUSA’s Youtube account, the official music video for Skrillex & The Doors’ Breakin a Sweat is up and it is killer. The song truly is an innovative take on Skrillex’s style fused with the Rock n’ Roll reputation of The Doors. This really shines a light on what the RE:generation project is trying to accomplish. Truly incredible and unique innovation from Skrillex. I hope to see more stuff like this from him. Give the other RE:Generation project mixes a listen as well. They are all one of a kind.
Don’t worry! The next posts will all be dedicated to more regeneration mixes!

Regeneration Music Project
For those who are unaware of what the Regeneration Music Project is, I encourage you all to take a look at the RE:Generation Music Project’s trailer to get the full effect. Essentially five of the world’s best DJs/Producers: Mark Ronson, DJ Premier, Skrillex, Pretty Lights, and The Crystal Method are remixing, recreating, and re-imagining five traditional styles of music. Partnering with some of the greatest musicians in the fields of classical, New Orleans jazz, rock, country, and R&B music, today’s biggest musicians are challenged to discover how our musical past is influencing the future.

14 Year-Old DJ Prodigy??
Holy Crap. Can I just start out by saying that before you listen to these mixes, I want you to know this kid is only 14 years old. No joke! Producing for less than a year, he is definitely one to keep an eye on because if his work over the last few months is any indication of work to come then he will be a household name in no time. My jaw literally dropped with this mashup of Nero and Skrillex. Truly speechless. Check the kid out and prepare to be impressed.
