Celebrate the 4th of July with Morgan Page at the W Scottsdale, AZ

W Scottsdale will host an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) filled Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, July 4, complete with a performance by two-time Grammy nominee Morgan Page and a firework display. The event begins at 12 p.m. (noon). The firework display will take place at 9 p.m.
As a special treat this Independence Day, W Scottsdale will be running a package deal for those who purchase a minimum of a two-night stay. The package will include two complimentary tickets and VIP lanyards per bed for the 4th of July party and a meet-n-greet photo opportunity with Morgan Page prior to his performance. Nadia Ali will also be paying a very welcome visit to Phoenix in this glorious month of May, and continue to break in the new Monarch Theatre in downtown Phoenix. Known for her vocals in Rapture, Feels so Good, Keep it Coming (which we covered an epic remix of), iiO, etc. the girl has an amazing set of pipes and incredible attractiveness to accompany it. Rapture was one of the first songs I ever heard when I came into the EDM scene years ago, and her vocals still haunt me with utmost beauty. You can bet I’ll be at this show. Cheers

Bingo Players @ Clarion Hotel Scottsdale, AZ MAY 19
Seems like the Bingo Players were just here in March… must mean they like the AZ heat! They will be back this Saturday to warm things up by the pool after a night of Moguai. The duo specializes in electro and progressive house. Spending a few hours by the pool and listening to some EDM is always a quality way to spend a Saturday.

Bingo Players @ Wild Knight Scottsdale, AZ
The guys who just brought us L’Amour are coming into town. That’s right Bingo Players will be in Old Town Scottsdale next Wednesday March 28. They have quickly risen to high ranks in the electronic scene playing at events around the world such as EDC, Tomorrowland, Dirty Dutch Mystery Land, etc. What’s remarkable about the dynamic duo is their ability to rally the crowd and get the dance floor moving with epic remixes and rolling guerrilla fart bass.

Looks like tyDi is coming to town a week from today! He has been voted at Australia’s #1 DJ for the past two years, is constantly a name of reference in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs from around the world, and finally often has tracks high up on 1001 Tracklists & Beatport upon release. Oh and let’s not forget he dropped his most recent album Shooting Stars in the fall, which was followed by a massive remix of Talking To Myself by Mason & Dragen as seen above! Steve Aoki and Datsik will be gracing Tucson and The University of Arizona this Thursday night. Having already been getting ratings through the roof on their Deadmeat Tour, this stop in Tucson will not be one that’s forgotten. Benny Benassi LIVE @ Tucson Convention Center
Look out Tucson, Benny Benassi is coming to town! Next Friday February 17 the night will start off with our very own Michael Abaté and headed by the big man! Should be a fantastic show, especially since it’s being put on at the Convention Center downtown, leaving lots of room for sound, stage, and lighting. POWERSURGE Music Festival (PHOENIX)
I noticed we have been posting a lot of events lately, but that just seems to be what’s making the news! Powersurge is going for a 5th strong year here in AZ, and after personally going 2 years ago and seeing Showtek live, I can attest to the energy and power in the crowd & atmosphere. This event originated as a hardstyle event and will continue to retain that hard-rocking style and culture. What’s hardstyle you may ask, to which I will respond it is the original pounding bass and punk culture that proceeded the brostep movement and is single-handedly responsible for giving birth to the Melborne Shuffle, not LMFAO as most EDM n00bs believe. Headed by Tatanka, who has been played at both Defqon 1 and Qlimax Next Dimensional World hardstyle music festivals, stages set to host house, dub, drum n bass, and hardcore artists will offer refuge to those who can’t handle the bouncing bass. Let’s also not forget about an appearance to be made by ARC ATTACK who performs music with thousands of volts of electricity and tesla coils! Anyone interested in coming out to see unique show and hear a unique sound will not be unimpressed. See ya on Saturday!
