Porter Robinson’s Debut EP Spitfire Out Now!
Its like all of the albums are dropping now!! AND I’m loving it. Seriously though? Porter Robinson is so skilled for his age and honestly his electro/house/dubstep anthems are edgy, innovative, unique, and just overall kick ass. Plus the EP features remixes from the likes of Knife Party, Skism, Kill the Noise, and more!! I don’t know what more to say about the kid. All I can do is give him props for putting together such an epic EP. Its truly awesome and ya’ll would be missing out if you didn’t get yourselves a copy on Beatport. The Norwegian duo, Carl Louis and Martin Danielle are now officially to be called CLMD. So don’t be confused! They are Simply shorting their DJ name to just their initials. This is such a neat song, and just a real treat. A sweet progressive hit with a quality drum line and hypnotic vocals. I am definitely a fan of this. Black Eyes And Blue. Enjoy!

First of all, I was listening to this in my car and then I started thinking about whether I had posted anything about this kick ass song. I haven’t, and honestly I don’t know what the hell is wrong with me. I’m a huge fan of Figure. His mixes are always on point. He kicks ass live. He just is a great DJ overall. He is the shit. This mix is also THE SHIT. I listen to it all the time which makes me wonder how on earth I forgot to post about it! I mean, I probably just wanted to keep all of the awesomeness to myself! HA! Holy hell! Welcome to another meth-laced track produced by Bingo Players. L’Amour is just the type of electro-house that hits hard and makes you start bobbing around your seat from behind your monitor. Mat Zo The Bipolar EP Favorites
Mat Zo went live with his new EP Bipolar just before last Valentine’s day. Since then we’ve been giving it a listen and analyzing what tracks we like. We’ll likely continue this little mini album review series for artists who’s albums we hyped up. Though the EP only comes with 4 songs, Bipolar and Yoyo Ma are new instant favorites on the smooth progressive house list. Bipolar, as the name suggests (hurr), transitions fluently back and forth between edgy and relaxing beats. Yoyo Ma is even more relaxing and a fun track to chill out to. Hardwell – Spaceman (Original Mix)
YES! I’ve been waiting for the this full song release since December! Spaceman is Hardwell‘s follow-up track to Cobra which set the tone early in 2012. Now the bar has been raised much higher with this flashy progressive tune composed of pumping bass and a sound that seems like it would come from an underground Middle-Eastern club. Check it out ladies and gents, because you’re going to be hearing this a lot, especially if some good remixes come out! Buy it on Beatport!

Rusko – Somebody to Love (Original Mix)
Okay sooo I know I’m looking forward to Rusko’s upcoming U.S. college tour this February! BUT To satisfy my Rusko needs until then, he is graciously has decided that he will be releasing singles over the coming weeks from his upcoming full length album titles Songs (due to release March 27th)! The first of these is “Somebody To Love.” A wonderful grime tune with an interesting and entertaining music video. Check it out, but don’t be fooled by the playful and melodic beginning because the bass and wobble that is to come might melt your face off.

Fedde le Grand & Nicky Romero
So these two have decided to get together, and they have worked their magic to create two amazing mixes. Their new mixes Slacking and Freaky bring both Nicky Romero’s and Fedde le Grand‘s talents in a cohesive way while still maintaining their individual styles. In both of these mixes you can definitely hear the influences that both of them had while mixing this track, but the way they combine their two styles is utter genius and is exemplified in these tracks. Freaky is personally my favorite of the two, but they both are definitely quality work! Give them a listen

Mord Fustang – We Are Now Connected
Alright here is the deal, I don’t know if you have ever heard of Mord Fustang, but if not, then I thought I would share a little bit of my obsession with you. Hailing all the way from Tallin, Estonia, his first release on his record label was at the beginning of this year, 2011. Since then Mord Fustang has released a total of six tracks with all of them reaching the Beatport Top 100! This is his latest edition to his soundcloud We Are Now Connected. I added a few of my other faves from this year because this is definitely a DJ you are going to want to get to know if you don’t already know him that is! Enjoy.
