Zonderling – Sonderling (Original Mix)
Who is Zonderling?! Well from what I could dig up in 15 minutes from the seemingly elussive artist is that he is from the Netherlands, works under the Klopfgeist Record, and I really like this track! Sonderling was shown to me by a friend named Austin, and I have no idea how he found it, but am grateful for the share. What’s most enjoyable about this track is that it is very mimilastic for a progressive house tune, but every sound is absolutely necessary to the overall composure. The video above definitely accommodates the potentially mysterious and dreaminess vibe the track can give off. Whoever you are Zonderling, we here at ESOM are watching and beg for more! Laidback Luke Is About to Take 2012 by Storm!
What can you really say about Laidback Luke that most people already know? I mean yes, I could tell you the generic stuff like the fact that he was raise in the Netherlands, or he has made his mark through his unique, pulsing beats, while incorporating intoxicating melodies. He has worked with top DJs such as David Guetta, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, and Example (just to name a few). I could go on and on.
The truth is, I don’t really know if anything I can say would do him and his work justice. But, I can tell you that if you are looking for a great dance song, you can never go wrong with Laidback Luke. His fusion of house, electro and even dubstep seems to be unparalleled, and his mixes and remixes always provide a good variety of different dance music styles, making it impossible to get tired of listening to him. Don’t believe me? Well he doesn’t disappoint in his mix Do the Robot nor in his latest Remix of Aaron Smith ft. Luvli – Dancin. So check them out so you can see what I’m talking about! Can’t wait to see what else he has coming for us in 2012, because if this is any indication of the year to come, it will definitely be epic.

Hardwell’s Cobra announced Energy Anthem of 2012!
I’ll be honest, I hadn’t even heard of Hardwell’s pulsing track until I happened upon this compilation trailer he created of the EDM scene in the US over the course of 2011. Cobra was announced yesterday to be the the Anthem of Energy 2012, which unfortunately for me (and presumably all of our followers right now) is located in The Netherlands. But if for some chance you are a reader from Europe or will be in Europe this March 3rd, I highly encourage you to attend the event, as it is headlining many major artists and surely will be tons of fun as proven in the past years!
