Music festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Ultra, Stereosonic and many more are on a mission: to get us to rave our faces off. AVICII; however, is taking his rave down a more philanthropic path. While many artists, of all genres, perform charity shows for one night and one night only, AVICII is stepping it up a notch and turning that idea into a full-blown tour. His upcoming North American tour is appropriately called the House for Hunger tour as he and his team partners with Feed America on a mission to raise money and awareness for a shocking problem in the United States: hunger. When asked why this issue was chosen as a focus, AVICII’s manager didn’t hesitate in explaining, “As “the land of prosperity” you wouldn’t expect to see children starving or people struggling for everyday survival.” The whole At Night Management team has been frequent visitors to the U.S. over the past few years, and during their travels, their eyes have been opened to a real problem that doesn’t get the recognition it should. They’re on a mission to change that.
Hitting cities mostly throughout the Midwest this January, AVICII and his crew along with Feed America are embarking on a $1,000,000 tour to fight the hunger crisis in the U.S. What is even better? So far tickets are reasonably priced at around $35 dollars so you wont have to dip into your summer music festival savings and break the bank. Just think! You get a great show plus you know that your money is well spent as it is going to a worthy cause. Help to make the problem of hunger fade into darkness and check out the House for Hunger tour this January.
