Featured: Wick-it The Instigator

True electronic talent has the ability to navigate in between different genres without so much as a hiccup. Wick-it The Instigator has that talent. He’s got his fingers in electro-house, dubstep, and moombahton. What I like most about his style is that while clearly displaying the ability to flip back and forth between very diverse styles, the base influence is very oriental and drum related. The end result would make you think he’s from Malaysia or India, but in contrary is really from Nashville, Tennessee! I’ve posted two tracks below which highlight his ability to change style, and pump life into some well-known hip-hop tracks. Best of all, you can download them for free in the Soundcloud player. Cheers

Dr. Dre – Still California (Wick-it Moombahton Remix)

M.I.A. – Bad Girls (Wick-it Remix)

KA5UM – The Buzz (KA5UM Bootleg)

As stated in our goals for this site, we love to promote up and coming artists, and any music that sounds good. Ka5um is brand new to the scene, and I mean like a little over a month or so… but he killed it with this Bootleg consisting of Buzzin by Mann and Punx by Tristan Garner. Appropriately titled The Buzz, the electro-house track most certainly keeps you wound up the entire time. We will be waiting anxiously to see the what musical path you will be taking Ka5um! Have a hear below and download the track for free from the Soundcloud player. Cheers

Azealia Banks vs. Steve Angello – Knas 212 (Dj Óli Geir Bootleg)

Knas is the classic electro house track that brings me back to EDC 2010. It’s really nice to see the songs revival in a mash with Azealia Banks212.  DJ Óli Geir from Iceland stitches together the upbeat pace of Knas with the quick and witty vocals in 212. The result is a bootleg that hits particularly hard on the second drop. Take a listen below and download for free in the Soundcloud player! Cheers

Backcornerz & Felvez – Show Me Amazing Love

Show Me Love has hit the hearts of many artists and produces as an instant house classic since its first debut in the late ’90s. There have been many remixes, bootlegs, and edits to the track over the years by many top-name artists that have given the track a little more love (pun intended). Backcornerz now joins the ranks of the elite with their new twist titled Show Me Amazing Love. In this song you will hear the passionate lyrics alongside some new phat synths and cheerful kicks. The track really flows well. Get it here for free off the Direct Download! Cheers

Featured: The Control Freakz

An Irish Dance duo called known as The Control Freakz has our undivided attention today. They specialize in adding flavor, spice, and everything nice in their bootlegs. Two of said bootlegs really made our ears tingle. The first was Groove Armada’s Superstylin’ which is a classic. What’s added to this track is a more housey feel and makes me wanna kick it on a beach in the tropics. The second bootleg of interest is Lykke Li’s I Follow Rivers. In this track we get more of a happy dance vibe. Check them both out and download them for free below! Cheers

Featuring: DJ GLDFNGR

Ahh… dim the lights, turn on the fire, and come join me on this pristine white couch because it’s time to get sexy kids. GLDFNGR is all the way from South Carolina, but his deep house track mixes have no borders. As hinted in the first sentence, these tracks are very emblamatic of what deep house truly is. Soothing bass, relaxing tones, and in sometimes sexy vocals that really make for a nice soul-filled song. So far it’s only been mixes, which is perfect for setting a gentle mood or kicking back and knocking out some work. The first three installments of his SoulFNGR Series are provided below and can be downloaded for free off his Soundcloud (out of the widget too). My favorite is from 10-26 but don’t let that deter you from checking out the others! Cheers

DANI L. MEBIUS is definitely a name to keep an eye out for!
“After numerous successful collaborations, Dani L Mebius now brings us a badass progressive house banger. Watch Me Now is stuffed with energy, sleek vocals and a divine progressive sound. Known for his energy behind the mixer, Dani L Mebius proves he can apply his skills really well in the studio too. ‘Watch Me Now’ is a massive main stage house anthem definitely here to stay!

Gotye feat. Kimbra – Somebody That I Used To Know (HYPER CRUSH REMIX)

What a fantastic electro remix to a fantastic original song! Hyper Crush‘s work of Somebody That I Used To Know really does the original by Gotye & Kimbra justice. One of my favorite interjections for this song is the humorous sample of “Ya let’s fuckin’ rage!” from the movie Grandma’s Boy. Absolutely hilarious, yes let us fucking rage Hyper Crush. You can get a free download from Hyper Crush’s site, but to save you guys the hassle of putting in your email addresses and getting spam… here’s the Direct Download. Cheers

Also in other news, Hyper Crush released an album back on the 7th called Night Wave. You can get it on Beatport.
