Moguai @ Wild Knight Scottsdale, AZ MAY 18
As if this month couldn’t get any crazier here in AZ, André Tegeler, more commonly known as Moguia will be in Phoenix this weekend. We covered him back when he dropped his album Mpire, and also saw him live at Beyond Wonderland. I can easily speak from experience when I say he is still one of the most underrated artists in the scene, as he was one of my favorite shows I’ve been to. If you like electronic and progressive house this is your show.

Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (TheFatRat Remix)
I am obsessed with this song, and honestly, this is probably one of the best remixes I have EVER heard. I know this is not a brand new release, but I still feel the need to share. It truly respects the song and keeps integrity with putting a really great twist on it. TheFatRat is at it again. Honestly… just truly great. I am 100% content. Mad respect. Très très dope. Enjoy

Alesso – Years (Vocal Mix) *BBC Radio 1 Preview*
I see that DJs and producers are starting to crank out what are sure to be some of the dance anthems of the summer (maybe even the year)! How do you really pick a favorite though? I figured out how to deal with this dilemma… I just decided that I won’t pick one over the other. Be looking for a post in the next month that will contain an epic summer playlist that will constantly be updated as all of our favorite DJs continue to pump out new mixes.
This tune is definitely one that will make that cut too. Right now he is giving us a little taste, but Alesso always creates huge dance tracks and this is no exception. Its a feel good tune that will get ya up and dancing and feeling great. DOING IT BIG! Can’t wait for the complete full length release!! Check it out. Enjoy!

Martin Solveig – The Night Out (Madeon Remix)
Well, this is just a pleasant surprise. What a cool little remix here by Madeon. I mean, I’m a fan of Martin Solveig, and I love the original, but shoot its hard not to love this remix!! So catchy! So upbeat! This remix is where it is at. I’m making this one of my summer anthems for sure, and I obviously recommend you do the same. Killer dance tune. Get up! Dance! Get happy! Enjoy!

Congorock – Monolith and Agarta (Two Original Mixes)
Haven’t heard anything from Congorock in quite some time! They just released two new tracks titled Monolith and Agarta. Monolith is my favorite because like the name suggests, the thing is frakkin massive. The lead us in with an epic intro before capturing our attention with modified strings as the build continues to grow. Finally at 1:28 we are relieved of painful pressure and unleashed to rage to eastern synths and beats of the jungle! We aren’t left in safety after that point in the song, as there is another massive build and drop. Get the two tracks here on Beatport! Cheers

KA5UM – The Buzz (KA5UM Bootleg)
As stated in our goals for this site, we love to promote up and coming artists, and any music that sounds good. Ka5um is brand new to the scene, and I mean like a little over a month or so… but he killed it with this Bootleg consisting of Buzzin by Mann and Punx by Tristan Garner. Appropriately titled The Buzz, the electro-house track most certainly keeps you wound up the entire time. We will be waiting anxiously to see the what musical path you will be taking Ka5um! Have a hear below and download the track for free from the Soundcloud player. Cheers

Angger Dimas & Bassjackers – RIA (Original Mix)
Bassjackers and Angger Dimas have paired up to give us a massive installment! This electro-house groove has some super salty synths and typical phatty Bassjackers bass. Look out for this track at Ultra as I expect a lot of support from other artists! Get the track now on Beatport! Cheers

Mord Fustang – Welcome To The Future EP
Mord Fustang has just released his new EP titled Welcome To The Future. He is well known for awesome splicing of sounds that produce electro-house and dub-like tracks. With this pure blend in style, it is pretty evident that his productions will continue to move us both on and off the dance floor! Take a listen to the track Welcome To The Future Below! You can get the full EP now on Beatport.

Welcome To The Future:
Azealia Banks vs. Steve Angello – Knas 212 (Dj Óli Geir Bootleg)
Knas is the classic electro house track that brings me back to EDC 2010. It’s really nice to see the songs revival in a mash with Azealia Banks‘ 212. DJ Óli Geir from Iceland stitches together the upbeat pace of Knas with the quick and witty vocals in 212. The result is a bootleg that hits particularly hard on the second drop. Take a listen below and download for free in the Soundcloud player! Cheers

Featured: Lindsey Stirling
I love seeing new boundaries get pushed in music! What do you get when you mash up a dubstep beat with a classical violin? Crystallize by Lindsey Stirling that’s what. If you haven’t seen her by now, you must be new to the internet or something because her videos have gone viral. Normally violin and dubstep would probably result you clamping your ears, but Lindsey not only successfully mashes the two together, she also dances, performs acrobatic moves, and is incredibly attractive. Oh and the video has great cinematography that was shot in the Ice Castles of Colorado. So if the song itself doesn’t put you in a jovial mood, I guarantee the girl will. Take a listen above and get Crystallize now on iTunes or Direct Download.
Did Crystallize not catch your attention? Well how about Spontaneous Me (posted below) which is more electronic-based but just as vibrant and as the title suggests- EPIC! Get Spontaneous Me on iTunes or Direct Download. Cheers!

Spank Rock ft. Big Freedia – Nasty (Original Version)
Check out this dirty track by Spank Rock fresh off of Boys Noize Records. It’s a grungy-electro track as you would expect. The lyrics are very sex-oriented and the bounce style only helps add to that atmosphere that is sure to help drive any party. This track and all other remixes were supposed to be on Beatport yesterday, but I see no sign of them. Looks like we’re confined to clicking the Soundcloud play button until they’re released for realzies, then I’ll update this post with a link. Cheers

SnowBall 20 Track Mix Tape + Download
Okay so thanks to Nick Guarino over at http://www.thissongissick.com and his wonderful generosity, there is this killer 20 track mixtape. The festival was this past weekend and I hear from friends that it was amazing. So for those of you are unaware, the festival SnowBall features names like Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and The Flaming Lips. It started in Vail, Colorado and expanded to SnowGlobe in Lake Tahoe, California, and SnowMont in Killington, Vermont. Last year Nick put out a mixtape as well, and it was immensely popular, so I have no doubt that this mix will be well received as well.
20 amazing songs from artists that played the festival like: Bassnectar, Major Lazer, Gramatik, Dillon Francis, Mimosa, Nit Grit, Two Fresh, Griz, and so many more!
Here is what Nick says: “We tried to create a mixtape that highlighted the heavy bass crushing acts, to the more soulful live acts, and everything in between. SnowBall is a great balanced festival, with enough electronic to tide you over, and I really feel we did a great job at highlighting that. Enjoy all of these unreleased tracks, exclusive downloads on songs that have been purchase only, and more. We really hope you take the time to listen to every track. Enjoy!”
So there ya go! Tons of thanks to Nick for this! Enjoy everyone

Manic Focus – Circles (Music Video)
Okay soo Main focus is bringing you a killer new original mix. For those of you who don’t know who he is, he is the guy who did the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Trampled by Turtles, and Gary Jules – Mad World remixes. This song has this killer funk, electro, soul vibe that is kinda reminiscent of some early Pretty Lights stuff. Yeeea I can definitely dig this song. Its a winner. Enjoy!!

Miike Snow – Paddling Out (Wolfgang Gartner Remix)
Oh okay, I feel you right now Wolfgang Gartner… I feel you. This remix of Miike Snow‘s Paddling Out is ill. Keeping the integrity of the original version, this remix has a catchy melody and hyped up beat that definitely gets these dancing feet going. Almost an old-timey feel with vamped up modern touches. I like it. I REALLY like it. Thoughts? Press play and enjoy!

Kill the Noise & Datsik – Lightspeed
Oh whats up Kill the Noise? I see you over there partying with Datsik! When amazing DJs and producers get together and make sick beats like this, it always makes my day. First of all Kill the Noise is one of the most Dynamic of his kind. He can blend genres of dance music like you wouldn’t believe, and this song is just another one he can add to the ranks of amazing tracks he has produced. Second, Datsik just kills it… ALL THE TIME. Always supplying a crazy/unique/unexpected drop and a killer beat, you can tell he put his spin on this song too. Its just a great track that emphasizes everything that is great about both of the amazing contributers. I am nothing but pleased to share this with all of you! Also, it was just released about 2 days ago! Want the whole thing? Get it on beatport! Enjoy!!

Illusion (Alexander Adstedt Remix)
Soo Sweden has definitely got it going on, but I can’t like stress how much I love this guy enough. Alexander Adstedt comin in hot right now with this epic Illusion remix. Its 7 minutes of melodic, beautiful goodness… like 7 minutes in heaven, except we aren’t in middle school anymore, and this is not some song you get a little crush on and lust over for a bit. Its a song you can easily fall in love with. With some silky, sultry vocals from Lina Harriette and a beat that gets you completely entranced in the mix, its just an over all chill, electro-dance mix that is different from a lot of the stuff we have been posting lately. Its exactly what the doctor ordered. Come and get your breath of fresh air, courtesy of Alexander Adstedt. ENJOY!
