Sound Of Now Radio EP027 / SPECIAL GUEST : TIESTO [NL]
I’ve always been a strong supporter of Mikael Weermets, and so my praise of him might seem excessive, but I assure you he deserves every bit of it. This is the 27th episode of Sound of Now Radio, and it features special guest Tiesto! If the number one DJ in the world is down to work with this guy, then you probably check it out. I’ll let the 2 hour long cast do all the convincing. Enjoy

SnowBall 20 Track Mix Tape + Download
Okay so thanks to Nick Guarino over at http://www.thissongissick.com and his wonderful generosity, there is this killer 20 track mixtape. The festival was this past weekend and I hear from friends that it was amazing. So for those of you are unaware, the festival SnowBall features names like Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and The Flaming Lips. It started in Vail, Colorado and expanded to SnowGlobe in Lake Tahoe, California, and SnowMont in Killington, Vermont. Last year Nick put out a mixtape as well, and it was immensely popular, so I have no doubt that this mix will be well received as well.
20 amazing songs from artists that played the festival like: Bassnectar, Major Lazer, Gramatik, Dillon Francis, Mimosa, Nit Grit, Two Fresh, Griz, and so many more!
Here is what Nick says: “We tried to create a mixtape that highlighted the heavy bass crushing acts, to the more soulful live acts, and everything in between. SnowBall is a great balanced festival, with enough electronic to tide you over, and I really feel we did a great job at highlighting that. Okay, so I feel like the fact that I love Diplo is not a big secret to anyone these days, but his Sirius XM show Blow Your Head just absolutely kills it everytime and this episode definitely is no exception to that! It is just so good. A full hour of EDM hosted by Diplo?? Yea I’ll take that any day. Plus there is a nice little tribute to the late great Whitney Houston at the very end! Even better right? Mroz Cast: January Podcast + Tracklist
I am literally JUMPING for joy that the new Mroz Cast is up!! In December I had the privilege of posting about his December cast, and just when I wasn’t sure how he would top that one, he releases the cast for January 2012. His seamless transitions mixing from one song to the next is unbelievable. He makes great song choices and mixes seem like they come from some superhuman DJ with talents that are rare and appear to be almost completely unnatural. Not that I’m complaining or anything. His podcasts give me an hour of non-stop, quality, grade A music, so I definitely have no problem with that. I just wonder how he does it!? Avicii Pier 94 New Years Set + Download!
Okay okay yea there were some of us who were not fortunate enough to see Avicii tear it up at Pier 94 this New Years.
