Armin van Buuren vs. Andain vs. Nadia Ali – Promised Pressure (DJ Rozz Re-Edit Extended Mix Version)
What an incredible mashup! Combining two of my favorite trance songs of all times that have stunning vocals, Promises – Andian with Pressure – Nadia Ali. DJ Rozz has re-edited the mashup originally done by Armin Van Buuren that it was never released to the public… until now. Take a click, have a listen, and snag the song for free in the Rozz Soundcloud player below. Cheers!
When Porter Robinson dropped Vandalism last year I once again fell in love with Amba Shepherd. As one could guess, it’s because her vocals are so clean and beautiful. Well, I’ve resparked that fire of love with Lazy Rich‘s Remix to the song which is simply out of control! You move along through the song thinking ah, yes I remember this tune from just a few months ago, then boom! YOU’RE HIT BY A WAVE OF BASS. Unfortunately there’s no word on when this bomb will be dropped for realzies so keep clicking the replay button until further notice. Cheers
WARNING: Listener Discretion is Advised! Prepare your ears accordingly!
Eric Prydz has a very distinctive sound to which his remix of Midnight City is no exception. Here we’ve got that repetitive dreamy sound that is magical and full of wonderment. Check out this beautiful electronic house tune above and snag it on the Direct Download. Cheers
Yes, Yes, YES!!! I always get super stoked when I see Sebjak gracing our ears with new stuff. This song obviously does not disappoint. There is nothing better than seeing a producer make a great feel good original mix. Its all Sebjak guys. This guy doesn’t mess around, and I promise you, when you listen to this track you will definitely wont regret spending the two minutes to do so. So sit back, hit the play button, and enjoy. AND be prepared to get the song exclusively on beatport on March 19th! So be on the look out for that! Until then, I hope this fills your Sebjak needs!
Well after nearly 2 weeks I made my initial promise to review the Los Angeles ’12 Album, I’ve finally gotten around to the write-up. First off let me state that if you don’t have the Album, you need to buy it now. This is a trance album that is absolutely worth spending your buck on. In the tracklist below I’ve highlighted and linked my 10 favorite tunes from both CDs but don’t take this as an evidence that these are the only songs good- I thoroughly enjoyed both CDs! Both ring in a powerful energy with also sense of reflective trance that was excellently compiled by the man himself Markus Schulz. Finally I’ve included YouTube video of my overall two favorite tracks which were Quantum Mechanics – Styller and The Fusion – Omnia & Ira. Get the full album here on Beatport. Cheers!
It’s all about The Big Apple. Tiësto is back in New York with footage from shows during the fashion week & Electric Zoo, as well as footage from him setting up a clothing company. Check it. Cheers
Ahh… dim the lights, turn on the fire, and come join me on this pristine white couch because it’s time to get sexy kids. GLDFNGR is all the way from South Carolina, but his deep house track mixes have no borders. As hinted in the first sentence, these tracks are very emblamatic of what deep house truly is. Soothing bass, relaxing tones, and in sometimes sexy vocals that really make for a nice soul-filled song. So far it’s only been mixes, which is perfect for setting a gentle mood or kicking back and knocking out some work. The first three installments of his SoulFNGR Series are provided below and can be downloaded for free off his Soundcloud (out of the widget too). My favorite is from 10-26 but don’t let that deter you from checking out the others! Cheers
DANI L. MEBIUS is definitely a name to keep an eye out for!
“After numerous successful collaborations, Dani L Mebius now brings us a badass progressive house banger. Watch Me Now is stuffed with energy, sleek vocals and a divine progressive sound. Known for his energy behind the mixer, Dani L Mebius proves he can apply his skills really well in the studio too. ‘Watch Me Now’ is a massive main stage house anthem definitely here to stay!
Reactions of several dj’s:
Umek : ‘Good!’
Dimitri Vegas : ‘Big One!’
David Tort : ‘Nice one!’
Diplo : ‘Good for Vegas!’
Robbie Rivera : ‘Cooool’
Dj Slider : ‘Sounds sooo fat! Thanks!’
DMS12 : ‘DOPE…’
And William Daniel, from Tilllate Magazine, the world’s essential clubbing magazine, said; ‘Monster release in the forthcoming months! Will be huge…’”
Watch Me Now is a big room house tune has got some flow that makes the head bob! Snag it on Beatport.

What a fantastic electro remix to a fantastic original song! Hyper Crush‘s work of Somebody That I Used To Know really does the original by Gotye & Kimbra justice. One of my favorite interjections for this song is the humorous sample of “Ya let’s fuckin’ rage!” from the movie Grandma’s Boy. Absolutely hilarious, yes let us fucking rage Hyper Crush. You can get a free download from Hyper Crush’s site, but to save you guys the hassle of putting in your email addresses and getting spam… here’s the Direct Download. Cheers
Also in other news, Hyper Crush released an album back on the 7th called Night Wave. You can get it on Beatport.
Yep it’s out now. I have received confirmation that we will be covering Beyond Wonderland this year, so expect a followup writing! It’s still not too late to grab your tickets and experience the magic as I discussed in my last post. The trailer video certainly highlights that the costuming will again be superb this year! Cheers
YLOH PARC!!! For those of you who can’t read backwards, that says HOLY CRAP! George Monev does it again, but this time in a strange and unconventional way. He took the epic dance anthem Levels by the one and only Avicii, and he played it, backwards? Now the whole song isn’t backwards but the catchy chorus like tune is, and believe it or not its even more upbeat than the original. Looks like even Avicii’s songs backwards are meant to boost peoples spirits and get people dancing. Well played George Monev, well played! Check it out + Download here!
Okay WOW, Steve Levine Entertainment & Public Relations and Insomniac Events coming in clutch lately by bringing some amazing DJs and Producers to the Phoenix area. Preview of the MADNESS to come
Well according to Diplo via Facebook, he’s been sitting on this remix of Katy B’s Witches Brew for some time now. Apparantly he was nervous it wasn’t good enough for us fans yet, to which I’ll respond why didn’t you give it to us sooner Diplo?! It’s an interesting blend of music, as most Diplo songs are, and definitely fits his style agenda well. You can listen to it for free and download it off of his Facebook page or snag it here via Direct Download. Cheers
Yes Lange again- and Andrew Bayer! This time it includes the blissful vocals of Kerry Leva that are simply god-tier. The Club Edit of In And Out Of Phase offers and extension to an already soothing and euphoric releasing song. There is a breakdown halfway through the song that pulls in a series of strings which are a superb addition. Having a stressful day? Take a hear on this tune and that’ll change. Get it now on Beatport or via Direct Download. Cheers
Lange paired up with Audrey Gallagher to produce this exciting and love filled track Our Way Home. Audrey’s perfectly pitched vocals are always a great treat to a well-composed trance song. I’m always very appreciative and much of a sucker for some good guitar samples like we hear in this song. Fantastic love song. It was just released today so get it on Beatport or Direct Download. Cheers
So for those of you who do not know who Merdan Taplak is, let me introduce you. From Antwerp, Belgium, he brings you some crazy beats the likes of which you probably have never heard before. Receiving numerous praises and being declared “to have joined the raving hotchpotch of like-minded artists such as Buraka Som Sistema and the wicked Diplo and his Mad Decent posse. His seething mishmash plays M.I.A. a nasty trick, while the Crookers eat their heart out with his pounding bass wobbles.” He is truly innovative. Mixing all genres of electronic dance music, he shows his versatility and unique ability to experiment in all areas of the dance music genre.
His album ”In It For The Honey” came out February 18th on PIAS and it includes guest appearances of Princess Superstar, The Glimmers, Fat Jon, Kraantje Pappie and more. Its definitely something you want to check out!

Some Morgan Page to feed your fix before the show
Flosstradamus has got style, no doubt in making that statement; especially after seeing what they can do with remixing Original Don. It’s absolutely unique and edgy compared to what most other artists are doing. What I like most about it is that it has a lot of similarities to hardstyle, yet instead of dropping into hard bass, we get thrown into a more hip-hop electronic blend. They define this style as “post-apocalyptic trap” and that’s the exact vibe I get from their second song Mota. The entire EP is available for free off Soundcloud so take a listen below and if you like it click the download button in the player! Boom! Cheers
