Known for her vocals in Rapture, Feels so Good, Keep it Coming (which we covered an epic remix of), iiO, etc. the girl has an amazing set of pipes and incredible attractiveness to accompany it. Rapture was one of the first songs I ever heard when I came into the EDM scene years ago, and her vocals still haunt me with utmost beauty. You can bet I’ll be at this show. Cheers

Bingo Players @ Clarion Hotel Scottsdale, AZ MAY 19
Seems like the Bingo Players were just here in March… must mean they like the AZ heat! They will be back this Saturday to warm things up by the pool after a night of Moguai. The duo specializes in electro and progressive house. Spending a few hours by the pool and listening to some EDM is always a quality way to spend a Saturday.

Moguai @ Wild Knight Scottsdale, AZ MAY 18
As if this month couldn’t get any crazier here in AZ, André Tegeler, more commonly known as Moguia will be in Phoenix this weekend. We covered him back when he dropped his album Mpire, and also saw him live at Beyond Wonderland. I can easily speak from experience when I say he is still one of the most underrated artists in the scene, as he was one of my favorite shows I’ve been to. If you like electronic and progressive house this is your show.

Zonderling – Sonderling (Original Mix)
Who is Zonderling?! Well from what I could dig up in 15 minutes from the seemingly elussive artist is that he is from the Netherlands, works under the Klopfgeist Record, and I really like this track! Sonderling was shown to me by a friend named Austin, and I have no idea how he found it, but am grateful for the share. What’s most enjoyable about this track is that it is very mimilastic for a progressive house tune, but every sound is absolutely necessary to the overall composure. The video above definitely accommodates the potentially mysterious and dreaminess vibe the track can give off. Whoever you are Zonderling, we here at ESOM are watching and beg for more! Daft Punk 8-Bitalized! aka Da Chip
Well! After a long posting hiatus, WE’RE BACK-YOU KNEW IT! Ok, now let’s get back to business. This fellow Da Chip here, has managed to compose and compile two full volumes of Daft Punk songs that have been covered in 8-bit gooey goodness. If these classic Daft Punk songs didn’t bring you back to another time already, then this surely will because they sound like they have been ripped straight from an N-64 or Gameboy! AVICII vs Lenny Kravitz – Superlove (Avicii’s Space Mix)
I hope ya’ll don’t think I’m just posting some Avicii because he is a big EDM name. No, that is not my style. I am a genuine fan of Avicii, as I am sure most of you are too, and here is a preview of a mix that no doubt will become a dance anthem and perhaps an anthem of your summer. This is actually pretty cool! Never woulda thought he would incorporate Lenny Kravitz into the mix. I like it! Yes, this is gonna be a popular one. Not because it is by a big name like Avicii. It is because it has a catchy beat, and like most of Avicii’s songs, it is extremely carefree, fun, and upbeat. It will keep ya dancing for days!

Porter Robinson’s Debut EP Spitfire Out Now!
Its like all of the albums are dropping now!! AND I’m loving it. Seriously though? Porter Robinson is so skilled for his age and honestly his electro/house/dubstep anthems are edgy, innovative, unique, and just overall kick ass. Plus the EP features remixes from the likes of Knife Party, Skism, Kill the Noise, and more!! I don’t know what more to say about the kid. All I can do is give him props for putting together such an epic EP. Its truly awesome and ya’ll would be missing out if you didn’t get yourselves a copy on Beatport.
